I know there's a post on RSS/Atom feeds on his feedback forum, but I wanted to add another post about including an email subscription service for website users to sign up to the latest content of a site.

It doesn't have to be a "bespoke" system, but rather facilitate some of the main 3rd-party subscription apps such as Mailchimp etc.
